Top; ASOS| Bottom; ASOS | Shoes; Adidas

I'm a total junkie for online shopping, more specifically ASOS. Not for nothing, I once calculated the total amount I've blown on this fast fashion website and the figures were in the thousands. And that's few years ago.

Dilemma though, I came across a report citing these apparels could be made via the hands of child labour in Syria. Frankly, it's disappointing to hear tales like these, when big brands exploit developing countries and child labour to increase profits. Though, the real conundrum is, take away unethical practice from the equation; what you're left with is a pool of people without a source of income. What usually ensue is resorting to sex work to get by. Sometimes you gotta wonder, what or where is the exact root of the issue?

Not protecting or defending the stance, just something to ponder on.

That said, I live for hippy getups, even if worn by a wannabe like me. My penchant for sweatshirts will never die, but it's a refreshing breather to not be wrapped shoulder to waist in fabric in our sweltering climate. I chanced upon this bad boy on the 'shirts' section - apart from the biz shirt material, it was a hippy's dream come true.

This might be it, stone on denim and awkward length sleeves.
